For twenty years Dave Gerry has been the resident 'square peg' at CKVU television.
Boldly going where others dare not tread, Dave's work as a producer, writer and host has garnered him a mittful of awards. He began his career at his hometown station in London, Ontario then spent ten years working the general assignment beat in Kitchener before moving to Vancouver to write comedy segments for CKVU Vancouver Live.
Over the past two decades Dave has contributed to a long list of magazine-style shows as well as the News. His travels from New Zealand to Mexico to Newfoundland have spawned a total of thirteen one-hour specials. Dave was also the host of his own comedy series, Out of My Mind, which saw him holding court from a set designed to resemble the inside of the human brain.
Dave has received more than a dozen provincial, national and international industry awards...most recently an RTNDA recognition for best editorial.

Dave's history as a ham goes back into the mists of time. His earlier days were consumed with stage work and he briefly considered a career in the theatre. He is also an avid gardener and stone sculptor who has been able to sell his work through a well known gallery in Whistler.
Little known facts:
Dave once tried working one summer as a door to door Fuller Brush Man. It was the toughest job of his life.
