Host, Breakfast Television
It was my singing career that gave me a jump-start in television after I made numerous appearances on a local Edmonton show. It was only a matter of time before I was catapulted into the world of television.
Told during my final interview that "everything is trainable except personality", I was offered a Weather and Traffic position on 'Big Breakfast' and 'News at Noon', and later became the main weather presenter on the station's 6 o'clock News and News at Night.
After moving to Vancouver with my husband in 2004, I was able to add "actress" to the list of my accomplishments, landing numerous Principal roles in Film, Television and Commercials. It wasn't long before I was able to return to my passion of presenting for morning television on Citytv's BT.
I have also had the pleasure of hosting
Realty Television and
CityCooks. As one of the hosts of
BT, I am lucky to be able to continue working in the film and television industry in Vancouver on such movies and series as Fantastic Four 2, Dead Zone and the 4400.
I love living on the West Coast, "It may rain a lot, but it's not minus 40!" and I look forward to many years waking viewers up with a little sunshine and personality!
