Host, News, Breakfast Television
Starting off in Political Science at the University of Victoria, I moved on to receive a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from BCIT. I had an eight year summer career as a forest firefighter and spent four years with the Burnaby Fire Department. Then, I began my journalism career as a reporter for KSB in Nelson, BC and joined the Citytv news team on September 11th, 2001. My first big assignment was to produce a series of stories on 9-11 from Ground Zero. During that time I also had the opportunity to work for SportsNet doing play-by-play. After all of this, I was named Broadcaster of Tomorrow by the BC Association of Broadcasters in 2004.
My wife and I have three children and who keep me busy shuttling from ballet to brownies but I have somehow find the time to pursue other interests like skiing, tennis, music.
