Sean Grech

Sean Grech joined the Citytv Winnipeg team in June 2011.
He was born in Toronto, ON and spent most of his life in the suburbs of Mississauga, ON. Growing up, teachers would refer to Sean as “the communicator.” It’s no surprise he chose to become a broadcast journalist.
Sean began his journalism career in the nation’s capital working for Global National, as an associate producer intern. Soon after his internship concluded, Sean moved back to Toronto to work for Global Toronto and Global National’s Toronto Bureau as a producer. Many of his other roles included working at the assignment desk, as a news writer, and chase producer for the investigative journalism series 16:9 The Bigger Picture. Still craving to tell his own stories, Sean decided to travel to Winnipeg to work for Citytv as a reporter for BT and fill-in Traffic/Weather/Web Host.

When Sean is not chasing stories, he loves to listen to music, travel, weight-train, cook and spend time with friends and family.
