Courtney joined the Breakfast Television team in 2011 as News Anchor. Prior to joining the Citytv team Courtney anchored the news-desk in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and reported at CHCA in Red Deer, AB after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB.
It was during this time that Courtney solidified her keen interest in news and story telling.
A Winnipeg native, Courtney is happy to be back home telling local stories.
In addition to bringing you the days top headlines, Courtney sits down with Winnipeg's Police Chief and Mayor on a monthly basis to keep on top of the latest happenings in City Hall and with the police service. Courtney is also the host of BT Health, a daily segment airing at 6:20am that puts an emphasis on healthy active living.
When not hosting the news desk, Courtney enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Kingston and Phoenix. Long walks, trips to the dog park, and good old fashioned games of fetch are all regular activities.
