Brian was born in Toronto but Winnipeg is where he met his true love. Accepting a job at CBC as a reporter brought Brian to Winnipeg, and while working in the city he met his wife Minnie. Over the years, and through his growing career Brian has been able to experience life in numerous cities, but says none of them felt like home the way Winnipeg does. Winnipeg and the people of Manitoba have a Spirit; it’s the people who make Winnipeg and the province great!
Brian's first job was as a news/sports reporter for a radio station in St. Catharines Ontario. Since then Brian has gained over 25 years experience working in newsrooms across the country. He’s worked in Calgary, Edmonton, Berry, Halifax, Ottawa, and Atlanta.
He stays driven by the stories and the people he meets.
