Remote Host, Breakfast Television
Born in Winnipeg, that's right, a home grown "KID!" It all began in 1970 and Mac is still trying to grow up. Every morning he heads outside to play at some of the most interesting places you may not even know exist in our fine city. From the zoo with lions, tigers and bears "Oh my", to the bomb squad and K-9 unit of the Winnipeg Police Service, Jimmy has done it all and is looking for more!
Jimmy graduated from J.H. Bruns Collegiate in 1988 and though he was never on the honor roll he was first on the list to fail! He tried stand-up comedy in 1991 on a dare, and from that point on it turned into a career that's taken him from coast to coast appearing in a number comedy network specials, and local appearances. He's worked with the likes of Brad Garrett (Everybody loves Raymond) and wrestlers from the WWE, and now at Breakfast Television works alongside another stand up comedian and longtime friend Jon Ljungberg.
Education:
Jimmy is part of the Notre Dame Hounds where he attended school from 1984-86. Graduated J.H Bruns in Winnipeg and University of Manitoba.
Extracurricular:
Jimmy is a hockey nut who can be seen playing goal all around the city and often appears in charity games with the Winnipeg Jets Alumni. He is active with Winnipeg Harvest and the Humane Society as well as other appearances including movie premiere nights or golf tournaments. You may even find him at the gym every now and then too!
